Your insurer works for you, and you have the right to choose your own repairer. Here is everything you need to know.
You Can Choose Your Own Repairer
This is the most important thing to understand: in New Zealand, you have the right to choose who repairs your vehicle. Your insurer may suggest one of their preferred repairers, but they cannot require you to use a specific company. If you want to use Impact Auto Glass, you are entitled to do so.
What Your Insurer Might Tell You
Some insurance companies, particularly when dealing with claims involving smaller independent repairers, may suggest that using a non-preferred supplier carries risks, such as the quality of the work not being guaranteed. We want you to know the facts:

How to Make a Claim - Step by Step
Step 1
Check Your Policy
Contact your insurer or check your policy documents to confirm auto glass is covered. Most comprehensive policies in New Zealand include windscreen cover, and chip repairs are often covered with no excess.

Lodge Your Claim

Step 3
Contact Us
Once your claim is lodged, get in touch and we will arrange a convenient time to come to you. We handle the repair and liaise with your insurer wherever possible.
Step 4
We Come to You
We complete the repair at your home or workplace. In most cases, the process is straightforward and you will barely need to think about it.
